Michael A. Schaffer
Michael specializes in personal and corporate tax, accounting, and financial statement preparation.
His business experience includes serving as an individual income tax auditor for the Minnesota Department of Revenue, as a tax accountant for a national bank, and nearly four years running his own accounting and tax practice, prior to joining R.W. Ramsay and Associates, Ltd. in January, 2010.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas, and will be completing a Master’s Certificate in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall of 2010. Michael is currently working to obtain his C.P.A license.
Michael will be participating in the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce on behalf of R.W. Ramsay, as well as various other professional networking groups.
He is married to Leah and has two Italian Greyhounds; Mariana and Ivy. Michael enjoys skiing, travel, entertaining, and competetive running.
