Business Diagnostics for Performance Excellence
Part I: Business Diagnosis
First, we perform a business “health” check through a strategic and operational review of the business. The review consists of a questionnaire which offers a structured approach for revealing the situation of the business in both its wider business environment and internal operations – identifying its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
In addition, we have the flexibility to capture information on the current vision and strategy and test these against the identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
The questionnaire results build a detailed diagnostic report which offers a range of solutions for each identified weakness. It suggests action steps and automatically generates a project plan. The project plan includes management tools for incorporating timelines for the implementation of the action steps, assigning responsibility for each action, and monitoring implementation.
Part II: The Analysis of Results
Analysis of the results will look at problem areas in far greater detail. We can precisely target a specific operational area to gain a greater understanding of the problem. Such areas include: the production process, marketing and sales, the team, systems and processes, or financial management practices.
The rank and score function gives us the ability to rank items in terms of their relative importance and then score the business on each item.
The next step involves preparation of a project plan if you choose. The plan includes a range of strategies and solutions supported by key action steps. These actions steps can be managed within the project plan, incorporating timelines and responsibilities to ensure the agreed deliverables are implemented on time and on budget. It can be used as an internal tool, or you can allow us to assist you to implement the plan.
